Mc Givern back with family

Meadhbh Mc Givern is back with her family in Leitrim this evening after being discharged from Crumlin Hospital in Dublin.

The 14-year-old arrived back in Ireland on Monday night after receiving a liver transplant at Kings College Hospital in London last month.

A statement from the family this afternoon said Meadhbh is recovering well and she will continue to be seen on a weekly basis as an outpatient at Our Lady's in Crumlin.
