Report shows decline in number of energy disconnections

A new report shows a fall in the number of households where the electricity or gas supply has been cut off.

The Commission for Energy Regulation has said the number of gas disconnections dropped by a third in the first eight months of the year, while cases of electricity being cut off fell 10%.
