Man dies in Dublin road accident

A 31-year-old man has been killed in a road crash in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, crashed into a tree just before 11.30pm last night on the Snugborough road.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and was removed to the morgue at James Connolly Memorial Hospital.

No one else was injured in the collision.
