Govt must target cuts of at least €4bn, say advisors
The Government's new economic watchdog has said taxes and cuts of at least €4bn are needed for next year to reach targets, €400m more than the €3.6bn initially suggested.
The Irish Fiscal Advisory Council said the Government should go even further - to €4.4bn - and impose even harsher measures of around €4bn between now and 2015.
