Members of the Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement will travel to the North today.

The delegation will meet with key agencies involved in peace, reconciliation and community development work in Belfast.

Chair of the Committee, Labour TD Dominic Hannigan, said the visit is an opportunity to experience the advancements made since the Good Friday Agreement.

Today's visit is the first of a number that were planned after the inaugural meeting of the Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement in July this year.
