FF to vote on radical shakeup next year
Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin has said he will be announcing radical new proposals next February, aimed at regaining the public's support for the party.
Speaking at the Fianna Fáil President's dinner last night, Mr Martin said there is no quick fix in rebuilding support, and that it will take a long time to regain popularity with an angry public.
He said he plans to put a party representative in place in each locality of the country - something that's necessary now that the party has been decimated.
The party will vote on these radical new proposals its Árd Fheis next February.
