McGuinness: 'Greed' of politicians responsible for country's mess

Sinn Féin's presidential candidate Martin McGuinness has said the "greed and selfishness" that dominated so much of political and business life in Ireland during the boom is responsible for the economic mess the country is struggling with.

Mr McGuinness accused those responsible as being "unpatriotic", adding that as we move forward we do so with a real "sense of patriotism".
