Female Army Corporal 'prevented from taking course for promotion'

An Army Corporal has gone to the High Court claiming a Defence Forces training policy could leave her out of a job.

Separated mother-of-one, Frances Flood of Whitehills, Grancon, Co Wicklow, said that she faces dismissal if she is not allowed undergo the requisite training for promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
