Man shot in Tallaght

A man has been injured in a shooting incident in the Tallaght area of Dublin.

He was wounded in the attack in Drumcairn shortly before midnight last night.

The man is being treated at Tallaght hospital for injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

Gardaí say a gun was recovered a short time after the attack and the scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.
