Norris enters Áras race as Dublin City Council supports candidacy

Dublin City Council has voted to support the candidacy of David Norris for the Presidency.

The Council's vote means Sen Norris can be added to the list of six other candidates contesting the race.

Earlier, Presidential rival Michael D Higgins had asked the Labour councillors on Dublin City Council to support Sen Norris' candidacy.
