Gardaí make ninth arrest in dissident investigation

Gardaí have made a further arrest as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity.

A man in his 20's was detained in the Longford area yesterday morning and is being questioned at Longford Garda station.

He has been arrested as part of the investigation which saw eight men held yesterday.

Those men, aged between 20 and 60, are still in custody at various Garda stations in Wexford, Waterford and Clare.
