Govt to extend observation period of SNAs for fuller assessment

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said changes will be made to the way special needs assistants are assigned to students.

Mr Kenny said professionals will be asked to extend the observation period in class so that a fully comprehensive assessment can be made.
