Gardaí investigate Dublin shooting

Investigations are continuing into a shooting incident in Harold's Cross in Dublin yesterday evening.

A man in his twenties was attacked in a laneway off the Harold's Cross Road at around 6.30pm.

He was shot several times and taken by ambulance to hospital.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and an incident room has been set up at Terenure Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Kenilworth area of the Harold's Cross Road between 6pm and 6.30pm yesterday evening to contact them.
