Cyclist taken to hospital after LUAS collision

A male cyclist who was involved in a collision with a LUAS in south Dublin this evening has been taken to hospital after sustaining head injuries.

A male cyclist who was involved in a collision with a LUAS in south Dublin this evening has been taken to hospital after sustaining head injuries.

The accident happened during rush-hour at the Sandyford roundabout, which is on the green LUAS line.

The road and the LUAS line remain closed.

Emergency services and gardaí are still at the scene.

The man has been taken to Vincent's Hospital in Dublin.
