IVEA: Some schools 'on verge of collapse'

The Government moratorium on filling middle-management posts in education has brought several schools to the "verge of collapse", it was claimed today.

Irish Vocational Education Association (IVEA) general secretary Michael Moriarty made the claim ahead of an appearance by Education Minister Ruairí Quinn at the organisation's annual meeting in Cork this afternoon.
