O'Leary: Winning presidency would mean smaller house for me

Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary has today ruled out running for President, saying that he would have to move to a smaller house if he won.

There have been some calls over recent months for O’Leary to enter the race to become Ireland's ninth President.

However, speaking to Shannonside News, O’Leary said that it is not something that would interest him at this time.

"I will be the last person in this country to get elected to anything" he said.

"I think actually running for the Áras though would mean moving to a smaller house - so not of any great interest to me."
