Woman dies in Louth crash

A woman has been killed in a three-car crash in Co Louth.

The incident happened on the Termonfeckin Road in Drogheda at around 10.20am this morning.

The 27-year-old woman was a rear seat passenger in one of the vehicles. A number of other people were injured but not seriously.

The road is closed for a forensic examination and diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
