Fire fighters were this morning tackling a blaze at a derelict building in Dublin city centre.

Fire fighters were this morning tackling a blaze at a derelict building in Dublin city centre.

The fire broke out at around 8.30am at a building between George's Quay and City Quay.

It is still unknown whether anyone has been injured.

A number of streets in the area have been closed as a result and gardaí are advising motorists to avoid the area.
