Army makes safe three homemade bombs in Dublin
The Army was called in to deal with three homemade bombs in Dublin overnight.
The devices were found on an area of waste ground off Rathoath Road in Finglas.The Army Bomb Disposal Team arrived at the scene at 10.50pm and made the devices safe.
The devices were removed to a military installation for further examination, and the scene was declared safe at 11.55pm.
This is the 166th call out for Bomb Disposal Teams so far this year. Thirty viable IEDs have been made safe this year to date, along with unstable chemicals, unexploded ordnance and bomb-making material.
