Taoiseach: Govt 'acutely aware' of mortgage difficulties

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said the Government is "acutely aware" of the difficulties some homeowners have in paying their mortgage.

Mr Kenny's comments come as Finance Minister Michael Noonan insists banks have the money to engage in debt forgiveness.
