Man killed in Kildare accident

A man has died following an accident at a waste management facility in Co Kildare today.

He was killed in a single-vehicle accident involving a third-party recycling truck, on one of the main access roads to the Drehid facility, local radio station KFM has reported.

The Health and Safety Authority and facility operators Bord na Móna have launched investigations to establish the cause of the accident.
