Man still held in connection with Tallaght stabbing

A man in his 30s remains in garda custody this morning after a fatal knife attack in the capital over the weekend.

A man in his 30s remains in garda custody this morning after a fatal knife attack in the capital over the weekend.

The 23-year-old victim died after he was stabbed during a row which broke out in the Cushlawn estate in Tallaght in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The man in custody was arrested in Dublin yesterday afternoon.

He is being held at Tallaght Garda Station under section four of the Criminal Justice Act and can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
