Gardaí arrest man in Tallaght stabbing investigation

Gardaí investigating a murder in Tallaght in Dublin over the weekend have arrested a man in his 30s.

The man was arrested this afternoon in the Dublin area and is currently being detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death during the early hours of yesterday morning after a fight broke out between a number of people in the Cushlawn Dale estate.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
