Meath crash kills two young men
Two men in their 20's have died following a road crash in Co. Meath this morning.
The accident happened on the Ratoath to Dunshaughlin road at around 2.05am.
Two men, aged 20 and 21, were travelling in the car, when it collided with a tree and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their bodies were taken to Navan Hospital and the road has been closed with diversions in place.
Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them at Dunshaughlin Garda station on 01-8258600.
It brings to 118 the number of people killed on the Republic of Ireland's roads this year.
