Barclay's Bank may be in frame for MBNA credit business buy-out

There is speculation Barclay's Bank could be interested in buying MBNA.

Bank of America is shutting its credit card operations in Ireland and the UK, threatening 750 jobs in the Co Leitrim branch of MBNA.
