Opposition to Cork city speed limit proposals

A group representing 200 retailers in Cork is hitting out at proposals to impose a 30km speed limit on some of the city's streets.

Officials maintain cutting the speed limit has significantly reduced the level of deaths and serious injuries amongst pedestrians in other European cities.
