Australia, Brazil, China struggle to fill engineering, sales and IT jobs
A new survey from a global recruitment agency has found that one in three employers globally report difficulties filling positions due to lack of available talent.
The hardest-to-fill jobs in Australia, Brazil, China, Canada, Germany and New Zealand included the areas of engineering, sales reps, mechanics and IT staff.
The Manpower annual Talent Shortage Survey interviewed almost 40,000 employers in more than 39 countries worldwide.
Strategic client manager with Manpower Ireland Cara O'Leary said that in Ireland, there are gaps for experienced salespeople, especially those with languages, and for engineers, nurses and personal assistants.
