Light aircraft crashes in Co Tipperary
At least one person has been seriously injured after a light plane crashed near Mullinahone in Co. Tipperary.
The two-seater plane came down in a field a few kilometres from the village at Ballyduggin.
The pilot is believed to have guided emergency services to the scene using a map on his Smartphone.
Emergency services are currently at the scene.
The pilot and passenger have been taken by helicopter to Waterford Regional Hospital.
It is thought the passenger has sustained serious injuries.
