Murder accused woman granted bail

A woman accused of the murder of a man who died following a stabbing in Galway has been granted bail.

Maura Thornton (aged 30) with an address at Upper Salthill, Galway, had been remanded in custody last week after she was charged with murdering Kevin Joyce (aged 59), a Co Mayo native, at an apartment in Salthill on July 31.
