Many tooth whitening products 'useless or dangerous'

The Irish Dental Association has warned patients of the risks associated with tooth whitening products, saying many of them range from "useless to dangerous".

The warning coincides with an EU proposal due to be voted on next month, which will mean that only fully qualified dentists will be allowed to whiten teeth.
