Up to 1,500 attend Roscommon hospital protest

Up to 1,500 people protested outside Roscommon County Hospital today in opposition to the recent closure of the hospital's A&E department.

The emergency medicine department was closed last month after the Health, Information and Quality Authority deemed it to be unsafe.
