Children in care after being left 'home alone'

Four children have been taken into care in the North after their parents went on holiday and left them home alone.

The eldest child is 14 years of age and the youngest is just 5.

It is understood they are from Dungannon in Co. Tyrone.

The PSNI has described the incident as 'both serious and shocking'.
