Gardaí appeal for safety on roads during bank Holiday weekend

Gardaí are appealing to motorists to be extra careful on the roads this Bank Holiday weekend.

A total of 109 people have been killed in road crashes so far this year, and Bank Holiday weekends are seen as traditionally dangerous times.

Motorcyclists in particular are being warned to drive with care.
