Gilmore asked to pressure European colleagues for more Somalia aid

The international community is being criticised for its slow response to the crisis in Somalia.

Ireland has pledged €7m in aid so far and, early this morning, 38 metric tonnes in emergency humanitarian supplies were delivered to the capital Mogadishu.
