Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Swords assault

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to an alleged sexual assault on a teenage girl in Swords earlier this month.

The alleged attack happened in River Valley Park - known locally as The Jacko - at around 2.30pm on Saturday, July 16.

A 22-year-old man has appeared in court charged with rape.

Gardaí say they are interested in speaking to a man in his 30s who was walking his dog at the time and who spoke to the alleged victim.

He is described as bald and of stocky build.
