Recievers appointed to owners of Waterford clinic

Joint Share Receivers have been appointed by Anglo Irish Bank to Euro Care International which operates the Whitfield Clinic in Waterford City.

Staff at the hospital were called into a meeting this morning.

In a statement, the Joint Share Receivers said their appointment will have no impact on day-to-day activities.

They said their sole purpose is to "secure the future of the Whitfield Clinic and therefore protect employment".
