Man remanded as post mortem takes place on body in Galway

A post mortem is taking place on the body of a man found in a wooded area in Glenamaddy, Co. Galway yesterday evening.

A post mortem is taking place on the body of a man found in a wooded area in Glenamaddy, Co. Galway yesterday evening.

The body is believed to be that of missing Latvian man Juris Buls.

Thirty-year-old Mr Buls has been missing from his home in Glenamaddy for over two weeks.

Sergejs Krauze, aged 35, with an address at 12 Dudley Height in Glenamaddy, appeared in court earlier today, charged with the withholding of information in connection with the investigation.

He has been remanded in custody to appear again before Tuam District Court next Tuesday.
