Man due in Galway court in connection with missing man

A 35-year-old man is due to appear before a special sitting of Tuam District Court in the next hour, charged in connection with the disappearance of Juris Buls.

The 30-year-old Latvian man has been missing from his home in Glenamaddy Co. Galway for over two weeks.

Gardaí in Galway investigating his disappearance discovered a body in a wooded area on the Glenamaddy to Creggs Road yesterday evening.

The body has yet to be formally identified, but it is believed to be that of Mr Buls.
