Rescuers recover body from river in Waterford

The body of a man has been recovered from the River Suir in Waterford city.

A person was reported in the river at around 8pm yesterday evening.

A rescue operation was launched and the man's body was recovered shortly before 1am by Waterford Marine Search and Rescue.
