Dublin prepares for flamenco festival

The Dublin Flamenco Festival gets underway today.

Twenty of the world's most celebrated and influential flamenco artists will perform at the Helix in DCU over the next two days.

There will also be a series of workshops, conferences and a photo exhibition taking place at other venues across the capital.

The festival is a celebration of the roots of flamenco and was recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity last year.
