Two held in connection with shooting of police officer
Police in the North have arrested two men in connection with the shooting of an unarmed police officer in London.
An unnamed male Pc suffered an arm injury when he was hit by a bullet when a man opened fire on officers in Kingsdown Avenue, South Croydon, on Friday night.
The two men were arrested last night in Belfast.
A 26-year-old is being taken to London for questioning about the attempted murder of the officer, while a 20-year-old suspect is being questioned in the North on suspicion of assisting an offender.
