Man accused of afternoon rape girl in Swords

A 22-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the rape of a teenage girl in Swords, Dublin last weekend.

The alleged attack happened at about 2.30pm last Saturday at River Valley Park in an area known locally as 'The Jacko'.

The man was refused bail at Balbriggan District Court and will appear at Cloverhill Court next Tuesday.
