Man to appear in court in connection with stabbing of teenage girl

A man is due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with a serious assault on a teenage girl in Swords last weekend.

The alleged assault happened at around 2.30 on Saturday afternoon, at Rivervalley Park, known locally as 'The Jacko'.

A 22-year-old man was arrested yesterday and questioned at Swords garda station.

He is to appear before Balbriggan District Court this morning at 10.30am.
