Man arrested in connection with Dublin dissident activity

Gardaí in Dublin are today questioning a man in his 30s as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.

He was arrested in Finglas yesterday, when gardaí from the Special Detective Unit carried out a search -and-arrest operation in the area.

He is being held at Blackrock garda station under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
