Three rescued off Galway coast

Three men have been rescued from a yacht that got into difficulty off the Galway coast.

Galway RNLI Lifeboat recovered the men from the Furbo coast on Galway Bay this afternoon after their vessel became entangled in fishing pots on its way to Rossaveal Harbour.

The vessel alerted the Irish Coastguard to their predicament and the Coastguard tasked Galway Lifeboat to the scene.
