Construction of €100m Cork road bypasses to start today
Work gets underway on a €100m road project in Cork today.
Two flyovers will be built on the N25 south ring road around the city, at the Sarsfield and Bandon Road roundabouts.
It is hoped it will allow traffic to flow freely from the Dunkettle Interchange to the Ballincollig bypass.
The project will take two years to complete, and lane restrictions will kick in for motorists next Monday.
