Gardaí continue to question pair in connection with drugs seizure

Gardaí in Co. Wicklow are continuing to question a man and a woman about a major drugs seizure yesterday.

As part of an ongoing operation, cannabis resin with an estimated value of €102,000 was found following a search on a forested area at Garnagowlan, Woodenbridge, in Avoca.

A 36-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested.

They are being detained at Arklow Garda Station under section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act.
