The Health Service Executive has said there is no attempt being made to downgrade small hospitals around the country.

The Health Service Executive has said there is no attempt being made to downgrade small hospitals around the country.

It comes following the decision to close the 24-hour Emergency Department at Roscommon County Hospital for it to be replaced by a 12-hour Urgent Care Centre on weekdays.
