Man arrested after theft of pensioner's savings

A man in his 20s has been arrested at a house in Blarney in Cork this evening in connection with the robbery of a pensioner on Sunday.

A man called to the home of the pensioner at Sun Valley Drive on the northside of the city and claimed to be a garda from Gurranabraher garda station.
