A third of Irish pregnancies described as 'crisis'
Almost a third of women say their pregnancy is a crisis one.
A new survey from the HSE's Crisis Pregnancy Agency reveals that half of women who experienced a crisis pregnancy felt that the recession has contributed to it.
A total of 30% said they were treated unfairly in work because of their pregnancy, the most common form of unfair treatment was unsuitable work or workloads.
Almost a quarter of women felt their opportunity for promotion had decreased after they returned to work.
